This 6 day Tour will take you through one of the best safari country in the World ,Botswana. The Chobe national park with an area of 11 700 sq km is home to huge herds of elephants and ape buffaloes alongside other grazers and browsers like kudus, giraffes, mountain zebras, impalas, bush pigs and many more. As usual, these also draw a lot of carnivores as well including lions, leopards, cheaters, and other cats. The food web would not leave out scavengers like vultures and hyenas. It’s the concentration of an animal kingdom, the most common ones found in Africa.

This extends into the Savuti Game reserve further into the wilderness as you navigate the Kalahari sandy roads. This together with the Moremi game reserves are sandwiched between the Chobe river and the Okavango river. Although dry naturally, the concentration of game here is high owing to the abundance of food and water in the Okavango delta and the Chobe river. Arguably this becomes the center of all safari action you have been craving for. Far from the buzz of cars and buses like inmost national parks the Savuti and Moremi game reserves can only be navigated by 4×4 vehicles. Moremi is at the border with the Okavango delta and the only means of getting into the delta is by wooden canoes popularly known as ‘Mokoro’. These mokoro are pulled by local polers who knows the routes through the rids. The mokoro will transfer you from land through the delta to Maun. In Maun do the scenic flights to get a birds’ view of the Delta that has a buffer zone of 22 000 ha . Your Tour ends here in Maun yet there is more you can do on your day from Town tour to market and just meeting locals.

Day 1 :

Victoria Falls

Check in at Rainbow Towers hotel. Meet your Guides today for a briefing on how your Tour will run. Today you visit the Victoria Falls national park for a feel of the waterfalls. This is one of the biggest waterfalls in the World and it's worth spending as much time as you want.

Day 2 :

Victoria Falls

There is so much to do in Victoria Falls from adrenaline activities on the bridge to helicopter flights over Victoria Falls. There is also our stunning sunset cruise on the Zambezi river which is a must do. All these are optional activities and you can choose what to do here.

Day 3 :

Chobe National Park

Today we leave in the morning to Botswana Kasane where upon arrival you go on game drive in Chobe national park. From game drive you head straight to the jetty where you go off for sunset cruise on Chobe river. Chobe river runs across the Chobe national park and there is a good chance of viewing game especially hippos and crocodiles as you sail up and down. In the evening you have a chance to pack your backpacks for the 2 days you are separated from the truck.

Day 4 :

Savuti Game Reserve

Today you leave on 4x4 vehicles to Savuti in the sandy roads of Kalahari. This huge game reserve has so much wildlife and a variety of fascinating vegetation. Usually warm, dry and dust you will be right in the wilderness a true wildlife kingdom.

Day 5 :

Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi game reserve lies on the periphery of the Okavango Delta, the biggest inland delta in Africa. The region is a mix of the Kalahari desert and the influence of the delta. This draws so much wildlife to enjoy both biomes. The water channels of the delta here are navigated by the mokoro wooden canoes. The local Polers who pull the wooden canoes have good knowledge of the channels through the reeds.

Day 6 :

Maun

Using mokoro you cross the channels using mokoro back to land close to Maun. On disembarking the wooden canoes you are transferred to Maun on 4x4 vehicles. In Maun you have an optional activity of scenic flights over the delta to get an aerial view of the delta from the sky.
