Usually 2-3 hours should be enough to explore the length from the Zimbabwe side and the Forest it supports. Later in the afternoon you take the cruise boat on the upper Zambezi river as you easy the day with an epic sunset game viewing from the boat. The Zambezi river forms the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia all the way from the confluence with the Chobe river in Kasane Botswana to lower Zambezi below the Kariba Dam. That's close to 2000 km in length. The Chobe national park in Kasane Botswana is just 80 km away from Victoria Falls. Chobe is Botswana’s premier safari national park for safari. Situated on the periphery of the Okavango Delta, that is home to thousands of wildlife. It has approximately 205 000 elephants which is half of the elephant population in Africa. As such you are assured to see good herds of elephants. The Chobe river on the other hand runs across the national park supporting a good number of species of antelopes, cats as well as grazers like hippos. You first have your game drive on 4×4 vehicles exploring the national park on land. Later in the afternoon you take a boat cruise to view game from the boat. After sunset you make your way back to Victoria Falls.

Back in Victoria Falls you have all day to explore the adventurous side of the Zambezi river. Later in the afternoon you have lunch in Livingstone African restaurant before you go a Tour of the Livingstone Island. This is site from where David Livingstone first viewed the waterfalls from having been canoed to the island by locals. In his own words, “This is the view of Angels on flight” explaining the magnificence of the Victoria Falls. You will have also a chance to swim in the Devils Pool as well. Its completely safe though on the edge of the waterfalls.

Hwange national park is the biggest national park in Zimbabwe and home to over 450 species of birds and 100 species of mammals including the 19 big mammals including elephants, buffaloes, lions and the rare painted dogs, an already endangered species. It is 14 651 ha and has dams and waterholes that attracts wildlife. The elevated lookouts allows you to view game from concealed places thus avoiding to disrupt them. The fertile soil is blown from the Kalahari desert that supports good grazing grounds here. The Kalahari dense woodland is dominated by the Zambezi Teak and sand camwood. Today is a day to mingle and understand the culture of Zimbabwe. You’ll go on a village Tour, a typical African village. You will learn the basic survival skills of indigenous people and the conservation programs communities are engaged in to save the environment and wildlife. A visit to one of the schools in the countryside is set to give an insight on the education of African Youths and how they already relate to the outside World. You will have an opportunity plant a Tree and get a certificate for that as recognition for your role in being part of Africa’s environment support efforts. The evening you attend a farewell diner The African way at The Boma. Traditional dance and food the African way.
