Tanzania is synonymous for the Great Migration of millions of wildebeest. The season kicks off with the birth of close to half a million calves each year from January to March. Soon after the migration in search of fresh grass and water begins as millions of wildebeest and indeed other mammals migrate. The predators however worst very little energy on hunting as everyday they are surrounded by so much. As they cross the steep river jostling for safety from crocodiles some won’t make it.

The pressure and commotion of the Great Migration may not be a good experience for other people. Animals indeed still rule the plains of Serengeti. There is also rich history of human existence and there ancestors the (Australopithecus) said to have lived here 4 million years ago.
