Nanzhila Plains camp Safaris operates in the closest true safari area in Zambia to the Victoria Falls. It enjoys nearly 3000km² almost to itself. An incredible variety of wildlife and birding species are to be found across our 2 magnificent camp locations that compliment each other perfectly. Our original Plains Camp and her rolling grasslands has recently been joined by our Lake Camp. This new camp is on the game rich shorelines where the Musa River joins Lake Itezhi-tezhi.

The Nanzhila Plains Camp located midway to Lusaka and Victoria Falls. It is a perfect hideout in the bush with wildlife. Birdlife at Nanzhila is one of its kind. Supported by the Lake Itezhi-tezhi, there is a significant variety of water birds. This camp is far from the highway. and makes it a good home for wildlife to exist in their natural state.

lake Itezhi-tezhi attracts a huge population of antelopes and big mammals. The seasonal flood plains on the other side are source of food for grazers. The more the grazing species are available the better the population of predators.

Safari Accommodation in remote national parks makes perfect sense. The lodges are designed for child-friendly, wildlife viewing and peace. Wildlife photographing has become huge also in these plains. Nanzhila Lake Camp safari is situated right on the banks of Lake Itezhi-tezhi. Kafue national park is one the big protected parks in Zambia. The national park is supported by the lake as well as the seasonal flood plains with green reeds. The tour can either start from Livingstone or from Lusaka.
